Product 411 -- ColourPop Fall 2015 Collection

I'm a fan of nearly everything that ColourPop does, so whenever they put a new collection, I'm all over it.

Especially when it's a fall collection with lots of shades that I dig -- and as an added bonus, it's 90s themed. I grew up in the 90s so the nostalgia factor definitely helps.

I made my purchases from the collection of single products -- I haven't picked up either of the sets ... yet. I'm trying to be strong because so many brands launching their holiday collections these days and I only want to buy things that I really want. Still, both the shadow and lippie sets are calling my name so who knows how long I'll hold out? -- which contains Super Shock Shadows, Super Shock Cheek Blushes, Lippie Stix, and Lippie Pencils.

I purchased six of the shadows from the collection (they are 10 in total): Supermodel, a golden beige (pearlized finish), Boy Band, bronze-y copper (pearlized finish), Mixed Tape, a mid-tone gray with purple undertones (pearlized finish), Party Time, a dark purple-y gray (matte finish), Plaid, a blackened forest green (matte finish -- though FYI, there seems to be some gold shimmer), Stereo, a blackened burgundy with pink and violet duochrome (metallic finish), and Central Perk, a dirty maroon (matte finish).

I love all of the shades, but the standouts for me are Boy Band, Mixed Tape, and Stereo. I also like Central Perk quite a bit, but it is a little bit harder to work with than some of ColourPop's other matte shadows.

I picked up both of the blushes from the collection: Never Been Kissed, a rosy coral (matte finish), and Cruel Intentions, a rosy berry (matte finish).

Both are very pretty, but Cruel Intentions is my personal favorite (and seems to fit a fall color scheme a little better).

There are six pairs of coordinating Lippie Stix and Lippie Pencils in the collection. I picked up two of the Lippie Stix/Pencil duos in Oh Snap, a dirty nude pink (matte), and Contempo, a deep dusty rose (matte). I also purchased the Lippie Stix in Grunge, a plummy brown (matte).

Oh Snap and Contempo are both nice wearable, everyday shades that would work with most skin tones, I think. Oh Snap is a nice nude shade because it's got enough color that it doesn't wash out even fair skin.

Grunge is a little trickier for me to wear with my pale skin -- it's more of a dramatic look -- but it's such a cool color -- and a wearable brown shade for most people because there's a enough plum and maybe even some rosiness to make it flattering.

All of the shadows, lippie stix, and lip pencils are $5 each. The blushes are $8. You can purchase everything at ColourPop's website.

Have you tried anything from ColourPop's Fall Collection? Which items are your favorite?
