New QVC TSV Installment -- Mally Easy on the Eyes #2

It seems like just yesterday that I received the Mally Easy on the Eyes TSV from QVC, but the second installment already showed up last week -- and I think I might actually like it better than the first kit.

The AD collection contains six items:
  • Mally Citychick Celebration Shadow Palette
  • Mally Perfect Prep Under Eye Brightner
  • Mally Volumizing Mascara in Black
  • (3) Mally Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Liners in Steele, Enchanted Violet & Sailor
It also comes with a small pencil sharpener for the eyeliners.

Like the original kit, this installment contains Mally's Volumizing Mascara and the Perfect Prep Under Eye Brightener. Both items are nice, but they're not the stars of the collection.

That's because the Citychick Celebration Shadow Palette is the real standout.

Like the In the Buff Vol. 2 Palette from the first installment, the palette contains 11 shadows that fall mostly in the natural color range. The palette also contains a creamy eye shadow base.

The shades in the palette are Golden Champagne; I Love You Tutu; Runway Diva; Coffee; Ooh La Latte; Evening Light; Terrific; Rustic; Frosted Taupe; Vineyard; and Electric Navy.

While I love the In the Buff Vol. 2 Palette and use it pretty frequently, I may be a little bit more in love with the Citychick Celebration Palette. That's because there are more cool shades in it -- it's funny but while warm toned colors bring out my blue eyes a little more, my preference is for cool colors.

Because, seriously, how gorgeous is Electric Navy? All that purple shimmer... gah.

The Evercolor Starlight Waterproof Liners in this collection are also gorgeous -- and cool toned.  Steele is a matte gray, Enchanted Violet is a shimmery purple, and Sailor is a metallic navy.

The liners perform well too -- you can smudge them for the first 30 seconds or so, but then they stay put.

The kit also comes with a pretty impressive little booklet that contains a variety of looks with the products in the kit, as well as tips and tricks for using them.  Whether you're new to makeup or an old pro, you'll still find something helpful in it.

I'm very pleased with this collection and am really looking forward to playing around with it.  If you're on the fence about it, I'd recommend giving it a try.

Do you prefer warm or cool tone makeup?  Or do you rock both?

    1. Not a silly question at all! TSV stands for Today's Special Value - a one-day only low price for a product or kit. I really think it stinks that QVC doesn't ship to Canada. Some of the beauty TSVs do show up on eBay, but I'm sure you'd wind up paying an arm and a leg for them, which kind of defeats the purpose of getting a good deal. :P
