Product Alert -- LORAC Dazzling Dozen Limited Edition Eye Shadow Collection

If you haven't popped into your local Ulta or browsed the website lately, you may be missing out on a serious eye shadow steal.

The LORAC Dazzling Dozen Limited Edition Eye Shadow Collection contains 12 full-size single LORAC shadows for a ridiculous $35.

My math skills are pretty rusty, but I believe that comes out to less than $3 a shadow.

Isn't that nuts?

I'm not doing a full out review on the collection simply because I haven't had time to play with all of the shadows yet and I wanted to spread the news about it before it disappeared into the limited edition beauty products graveyard.

However, the shadows that I have tried are all excellent -- nicely pigmented, smooth, blendable, and easy to apply.

The shades themselves are not all new -- I know that because I already own one of the shades in the collection, Serenity (one of my favorite peachy gold shades so it's definitely going in the giveaway pile to share with you guys) -- so if you have a ton of LORAC single shadows, the kit might not be as a good a value for you.

But if you're like me and only own one or two (or none) of the LORAC single shadows, it's definitely worth a look.

The emphasis seems to be on a natural, everyday shades, though there are a few brighter colors thrown in for good measure.

The 12 shades include: Shimmer, a frosty white; Au Naturale, a nude satin; Gleam, a shimmery golden beige; Mango, a coral satin; Serenity, a peachy gold; Bronze, a shimmery bronze; Celebutante, a shimmery turquoise; Smokin', a midtone matte brown; Luxury, a matte black with gold and bronze glitter; Sapphire, a matte midnight blue; Dazzle, a matte dark purple with red and purple glitter; and Starlight, a matte black with silver glitter.

There's plenty of variety in this collection, though my one complaint might be that there aren't more midtone shades.

Still, it's a fabulous set to pick up if you're looking to expand your burgeoning makeup collection -- or you're a glutton like me and want to increase an already needlessly large collection.

As mentioned, you can find the Dazzling Dozen at Ulta stores or on the Ulta website for $35

Are you a fan of LORAC shadows?  What's your favorite shade?
