Product Review -- IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation

I've had mostly good luck with IT Cosmetic's face products.

Their Your Skin But Better CC+ Cream is one of my favorite foundations, particularly for everyday, I love the Your Skin But Better CC+ Airbrush Perfecting Powder for setting foundation, and the Bye Bye Under Eye Eyelift in a Tube is a go-to under eye concealer for me.

So I'm always willing to take a chance on a new product from the brand.

(Even if I occasionally get burned, as I sort of did with the Bye Bye Pores Illumination Pressed Powder.)

The Bye Bye Lines Foundation was especially appealing to me because I like the idea of my face products having skin care ingredients.

Don't get me wrong -- I don't expect a foundation to have the same effects on my skin as a serum or other treatment product (especially considering I switch my foundation up almost daily), but I figure it's always better to have ingredients that are actually good for my skin in it than those that aren't.

Bye Bye Lines is infused with anti-aging peptides, caviar extract, hydrolyzed collagen, hyaluronic acid, and argan oil, as well as vitamins A, C, E, B1, B2, B3, B5, B7, B9, and CoQ10.

The formula also supposedly features "Drops of Light Optical Blurring Technology" that provides an airbrushed finish and healthy glow.

So it's a hydrating, anti-aging foundation that blurs imperfections and adds a luminous finish -- what's not to love?

The foundation comes in a plastic bottle with a pump dispenser. It's clear so you can see the foundation inside from the outside.

While it isn't particularly thick, the foundation is fairly creamy and blends easily into the skin. It isn't overly moisturizing, but it does have a nice hydrating feel on the skin.

It doesn't settle in fine lines, wrinkles, or enlarged pores either, which is key for me.

The finish does have a nice glow, but it's extremely subtle so it doesn't look greasy or overly shiny.

In terms of coverage, I would classify it as light to medium. My freckles show through it in some spots where they're a little darker.

I purchased it in the lightest shade, Fair, which is a pretty good match for my skin. It leans a little warmer/peachier than I probably need, but I can make it work easily enough.

Personally, I really like the foundation as a nice, natural everyday option. It's not going to give you a totally flawless look, so it might not be the best option for a special event, but it does a really nice job of evening out the skin and making it look healthy.

If you have darker spots, you can just touch them up a concealer and you'll be good to go.

I like to apply the foundation with a brush, though it does all right with a Beauty Blender or other makeup sponge.

I would recommend for people with dry, normal, combination, and mature skin. I think it's only a no-go for folks with extremely oily skin, actually.

You can purchase it for $38 on the IT Cosmetics website or at Ulta. (If you're interested, IT Cosmetics is having a 25% off sale at the time I'm writing this with the code ITFRIEND17)

Have you tried the IT Cosmetics Bye Bye Lines Foundation? What foundation are you loving at the moment?
