Product Review -- Tarte Tartelette Flirt Eyeshadow Palette

About two years ago, Tarte introduced the Tarte Tartlette Tease Palette, which was a mini palette that delivered some seriously good shadows.

And with its small, thin design, it's small enough to toss in your purse or any bag to take with your on the go, which makes touching up or turning a daytime eye into an evening eye super easy even if you're at work or school.

So I was pretty excited to hear that Tarte was adding another mini palette to the Tarlette line.

The Tartelette Flirt Palette is similar in size and quality to the the Tease Palette, so I think it's a terrific option for anyone who wants an eye shadow collection that's perfect for taking on the road.

The palette comes in the same sturdy cardboard packaging as the Tease Palette. It features a striped design in purple, pink, and gold shades, and has a very small mirror on the inside.

Inside, there are six shadows: Gaze, a matte beige; Touch, a metallic rosy copper; Hotline, a matte mid-tone reddish brown; Playful, a matte mid-tone neutral brown; Passion, a rosy bronze; and Snuggle, a dark blackish brown.

The shadow formula is the same at the other Tartelette Palettes -- they're all smooth, creamy, and nicely pigmented. They apply and blend easily, so they're very nice to work with.

Touch and Passion are two shades that absolutely speak to my soul, so I'm head over heels for them.

In terms of the mattes, I absolutely adore Hotline, though Playful and Snuggle are perfectly nice as well.

The one drawback that I can see to this collection is that it's more warm neutral like tones, and if you're tired of those types of shades, then you'll probably want to pass on this one.

Personally, I wish that makeup brands would be a little be more diverse in their colors schemes, but still, I can't turn down pretty warm-toned shadows. They make my blue eyes pop like nobody's business, so I really can't help it.

The palette is only $23 (and has that yummy chocolate-y scent that most of Tarte's recent palettes have), though, so I definitely recommend checking it out if the shades speak to you too.

You can purchase it at Sephora.

Have you tried the Tarte Tartelette Flirt Eyeshadow Palette? What's your favorite mini palette to take on the go with you?
