Product Review -- Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter in Metal Moon

When I was picking up the Fenty Beauty Pro Filt'r Soft Matte Longwear Foundation, I just had to try one of the Killawat Freestyle Highlighters.

I can't help myself when it comes to glowy highlighters.

The Killawat Freestyle Highlighter is best known for its Trophy Wife shade, which is a hyper metallic gold that looks absolutely stunning on deep skin tones but I knew wouldn't be a good fit for my super pale skin at all.

The highlighter actually comes in 6 shades all together, but 4 of the shades are actually split pan compact that feature two different colors. That's a pretty cool concept if you ask me, but still I went with the one other full pan shade, Metal Moon.

The highlighters come in white plastic compacts that are shaped like octagons. Inside, there is a decent sized mirror that works well for touch-ups.

The highlighter has an extremely smooth, finely-milled texture. It blends easily into the skin without any chunky glitter to be found.

Metal Moon is described as a mega fine white gold, so I wonder if the other highlighters in the line might not feel quite as smooth.

While Metal Moon isn't one of those wham! in your face ultra-metallic highlighters, it is absolutely stunning.

It actually looks quite subtle and natural on the skin while still adding serious glow that works equally well during the day or night.

Since I've gotten it, I've had a hard time using any other highlighter because it is so effortless to apply and looks so beautiful on the skin.

Because Metal Moon is a little more subtle, I think it would probably be a good option for people who shy away from highlighters because they're afraid of accentuating their skin texture.

I'm definitely interested in trying some of the split pan shades, so they'll probably make their way onto my holiday wish list.

The highlighters contain 8 grams of product and retail for $34 each at Sephora.

Have you tried the Fenty Beauty Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter?  Which shade is your favorite?
