Product Review -- e.l.f. Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette

e.l.f. is another one of those brands that seems to be coming out with new products everyday lately.

There are so many of them that I've actually fallen pretty behind in trying them out. So I recently went on a little shopping spree on the site and picked up a few things.

The product that I was most excited for was definitely the Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette.

e.l.f.'s come out with several of these 10 pan shadow palettes and I've seen some pretty good reviews, but I'd never gotten around to giving them a try.

There was no way I could resist one with a rose gold color scheme, though.

The palette comes in a slim rectangular compact that's made of black plastic. There's a decent size mirror on the inside that's okay for touch-ups.

Inside, you get 10 shades in a variety of finishes, including matte, satin, and shimmer. The shadows are all sort of natural rosy or copper tones that are reminiscent of the shades in the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.

The shadow formula is pretty nice. The pigmentation varies from shade to shade, with the matte shadows being a little more sheer than the satin or shimmer shades, but they all build up rather nicely with a little layering (or using a colored base underneath them). You can also apply them wet, and they definitely go on more intensely if you dampen your brush a little.

They all apply pretty smoothly and blend easily , so they're easy to work with. I actually think this would be a good palette for someone who's new to makeup, though I've a makeup addict and I love it for everyday myself.

Best of all, it's only $10 -- that's $1 per shadow, which is a pretty phenomenal deal.

I definitely recommend checking it out if you're a fan of warm, rosy, and copper-y shadows.

You can purchase it on the e.l.f. website.

Have you tried the e.l.f. Rose Gold Eyeshadow Palette? Which of the e.l.f. 10 pan shadow palettes is your favorite?
