Review -- IT Cosmetics Eyelift in a Tube

One of the first products that I ever tried from IT Cosmetics was the Bye Bye Under Eyes Concealer.

This was probably three or four years ago when I decided to give the brand a try after watching them on QVC for so long. I picked up the concealer and the Bye Bye Pores Powder and came away impressed with both products -- which is why I've tried more and more of the brand's products and become a seriously big fan of IT Cosmetics.

In fact, they're probably up there with Tarte and bareMinerals as my favorite makeup brands at the moment.

But while I love IT Cosmetics and the Bye Bye Under Eyes Concealer, I have to admit that it probably isn't the easiest concealer to use. It offers a ton of coverage, is pretty thick, and can sometimes feel a little sticky, so it's definitely one of those 'a little goes a long way' products.

But Bye Bye Under Eyes comes in a squeeze tube and it can be a little difficult to get out the right amount, which can sometimes lead to applying a little too much.

When that happens, it can definitely look a little cakey.

That's why I was really intrigued when IT Cosmetics came out with the Eyelift in a Tube, a double-ended product that contains Bye Bye Under Eyes on one end and Hello Light Liquid Brightener on the other end.

Each side features a doe-foot applicator, though, so it's extremely easy to dot on just the right amount of each product.

As I mentioned above, Bye Bye Under Eyes has excellent coverage, so if you've got major dark circles, it can definitely cover them up. (Unlike, let's say, the Giorgio Armani Maestro Concealer that I reviewed last week.)

Despite its name, though, I also use the concealer on blemishes and other discolorations on my face, and it covers all of them really well too.

The Hello Light Liquid Brightener is a nice lightweight product that helps give a little illumination under the eyes. You could also use it to highlight other spots on your face if you prefer a cream or liquid highlighter.

The way I like to use the Eyelift in a Tube is to place a dot of the Bye Bye Under Eyes on the inner corner and another on the outer corner under my eye. Then I place a dot of the Hello Light in the center and use a fluffy concealer brush or my Beauty Blender to blend it all together.

I have to say, it's probably the most brightening combination that I've tried under my eyes so far.

If I have other blemishes or spots on the face that I want to conceal, I place a small dot of the Bye Bye Under Eyes on the area and blend it in.

I have the Eyelift in a Tube in the lightest shade, and the Bye Bye Under Eye in Light has got to be one of the best matches for my super fair skin that I've ever found in a concealer. The Hello Light in Light Radiance is also nice and light and super brightening even on pale skin like mine.

The product retails for $29, and you can find it at IT Cosmetics, QVC, and Ulta.

If you've been interested in trying Bye Bye Under Eye, I would give the Eyelift in a Tube a try instead -- it's just easier to use, but has the same great coverage. And the Hello Light really helps brighten up the under eye area.

The combination has definitely become my favorite concealer lately.

Have you tried IT Cosmetics' Eyelift in a Tube? Are you a fan? What's your favorite under eye concealer?
