Product Review -- Karity Just Peachy Palette

About a year ago, I bought a bunch of single eye shadows from Karity, a brand that wasn't particularly well known to me at the time.

I saw a couple of YouTube videos about them, though, and read a few blog posts, and decided that it would be worth the gamble to give them a try because the shadows are only $5 each and it's usually easy to find a coupon code for Karity.

I've been meaning to do a review of those shadows ever since, but my attention span can be fairly short when it comes to makeup and there have been so many new products that have come on the market between then and now, so I just haven't gotten around to it.

(I still plan to, though. Hopefully sooner rather than later.)

But I picked one of Karity's premade palettes recently, and I couldn't wait to review it because it features one of my favorite things in the makeup world: peach eyeshadow.

The Karity Just Peachy Palette contains a range of peachy and orange-y shadows in a variety of finishes, including matte, metallic, and satin.

You know I just can't resist a pretty peachy eyeshadow.

The palette comes in a sturdy peach cardboard packaging. There's a small mirror inside, but the palette doesn't stay open by itself so you'd need to prop it up against something if you wanted to use it to do your makeup.

There are 15 shadow in the palette: Glow Up, a shimmery beige; Creamy, a satin pink; Princess, a metallic peach; Totally Sweet, a metallic orange copper; Yummy, a shimmery berry; Freshly Picked, a matte beige; Cobbler, a metallic peachy pink; Warm n' Fuzzy, a matte orange; Delicious, a metallic orange; Om Nom, a metallic rusty orange; Atlanta, a matte warm brown; Juicy, a metallic rosy bronze; Organic, a matte dark brown; Sliced Up, a metallic bronze brown; and Fruity, a matte dark purple-y brown.

Right off the bat, I'll say that of all the peach-themed palettes I own -- and I have a few -- I feel like this one offers the best color selection. The majority of the shades are variations on peach, which is precisely what I want.

Some of the other palettes only include a few peachy shades, and that always disappoints me.

From l. to r.: Glow Up, Creamy, Princess, Totally Sweet, Yummy

From l. to r.: Freshly Picked, Cobbler, Warm n' Fuzzy, Delicious, Om Nom

From l. to r.: Atlanta, Juicy, Organic, Sliced Up, Fruity

That said, I feel like this palette works all on its own to create a variety of looks -- and can also serve as a supplemental palette when you need to add a little warmth to an eye look.

Of course, it doesn't matter how pretty the shades are if the formula isn't any good.

And these shadows are actually quite good.

Nearly all of them are very pigmented (Creamy is a little bit sheer, so it requires a little layering, but that's really the only one). They all have a nice smooth, creamy texture, including the mattes, and they blend easily without becoming muddy.

I'm kind of obsessed with this palette to be honest -- and Princess, Totally Sweet, Yummy, Cobbler, and Juicy in particular.

Best of all, the palette is only $25, so you're paying less than $2 a shadow. And as I mentioned, there's usually a coupon code available for the Karity website, so you may not even have to pay full price.

If you're a fan of peach and orange shadow shades, I definitely recommend it.

You can purchase it on the Karity website.

Have you tried the Karity Just Peachy Palette? Are there other Karity products that you'd recommend?
