Product Review -- Too Faced Papa Don't Peach Blush

Back in the day, I had one of the original Too Faced Papa Don't Peach Blush.

I remember that it came in heavy cardboard packaging with cool retro artwork, and I believe it was a mostly matte peach shade with some subtle gold shimmer throughout.

I liked it quite a bit, and was very disappointed when it turned up missing after I took it on vacation with me.

I never got around to replacing it, and then Too Faced went and discontinued it so that was that.

Until recently, of course, when Too Faced relaunched the Papa Don't Peach Blush as part of their Sweet Peach line.

I wasn't sure if it was going to be the exact same version that was out a few years ago, but I decided that I had to give it a try.

As far as I can tell, this is an entirely new version, from the packaging all the way to the formula.

The new Papa Don't Peach Blush comes in a tin compact, which is essentially a smaller version of the packaging used for the Sweet Peach and Chocolate Bar Palettes. It is a pretty peach color, and features an embossed cartoon peach that is super cute.

Inside, there is a small mirror that is good for touch ups and another cute little peach.

Like the other items in the Sweet Peach line, the blush also features a super sweet candy-like peach scent. I have kind of a love/hate relationship with it, though that's true of peach scented things in general (For example, I love bellinis, but about half way through drinking one, the scent of the peach schnapps starts to make me nauseous... I can't explain it).

Keep in mind that you don't smell the peach scent once the blush is on your skin, though, so it might not be a deal breaker even if you aren't a fan of peach scents.

The blush is a gorgeous golden peachy pink with some subtle hints of bronze. It doesn't contain any obvious or chunky glitter, but it has an almost metallic sheen on the skin so it provides the most unbelievably pretty glow.

Most times when I wear it, I don't feel the need for a separate highlighter because it provides so much sheen itself.

Not gonna lie -- I've been obsessed with this blush since I got it. If I'm wearing a warm eyeshadow look these days, there's a 99.9% chance that I'm wearing Papa Don't Peach with it.

It retails for $30, so it definitely isn't cheap. But if you love peach blushes, I recommend checking this one out.

You can find it on the Too Faced website, Sephora, Ulta, and anywhere else you can purchase Too Faced products.

Have you tried the Too Faced Papa Don't Peach Blush? Are you a fan?
