LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blush in Exposed Review

LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blush in Exposed

Another day, another blush.

I know, I know.

I have a serious problem.

But I promise this will be the last blush post this week. (I can't make the same promise for next week, though.  It's a sickness, I tell you!)

I'd had my eye on LORAC's Baked Matte Satin Blushes for quite a while, so when I got a Sephora gift card this past Christmas, I figured it was a good time to finally give them a try.  I'm not sure what LORAC includes 'Matte' in the product title - there is nothing matte about these blushes.

But that's definitely not a bad thing.

They're available in five gorgeous colors, so I had a pretty tough time choosing one.  In the end, I went with my old stand-by - a peachy pink shade.  While I had several peachy pink blushes in my collection, LORAC's Exposed is definitely something special.

LORAC Exposed - how gorgeous is this?!

For one thing, it's super pigmented - more so than even Nars' Orgasm, the gold standard for peachy pink blushes. I actually find that using a duo-fiber brush is the best option with this blush since it's easy to apply too much color without realizing it. And while Exposed is super shimmery, it doesn't leave gold glitter on your cheeks the way Orgasm often does. Instead, it just lights up your skin with the most beautiful peachy pink glow.

I'll confess that when I'm wearing it, I find myself looking in the mirror a little more than is probably acceptable just because I can't get over how pretty it looks on the cheeks.

At some point, I'd like to try some of the other shades (All right, if I'm being honest, ALL of them. :P).  Velvet Rope is a beautiful plum-rose shade that I kind of can't stop thinking about, so that may be next on the list.

Have you tried the LORAC Baked Matte Satin Blushes?  What's the verdict? Am I wrong or is Exposed just ridiculously pretty?  And are you crazy about peachy pink blushes like I am?

    1. Sorry! lol But I've got to say, of all the blushes I've gotten in the last four or five months, this one is definitely my favorite. It's gorgeous - anything that can make my cheeks look super glowy without tons of glitter is a winner in my book. :)
