Product Review -- Maybelline Color Sensational Loaded Bolds Lipsticks and Color Jolt Intense Lip Paint

Maybelline's Color Sensational Creamy Matte Lipsticks are some of my favorite matte lipsticks.

They're creamy and non-drying, and come in a bunch of great shades.

And they've relatively inexpensive too, so they're pretty perfect.

That's why I was really excited to try the Maybelline Color Sensational Loaded Bolds Lipsticks

They're a creamy matte formula too, but they're supposed to deliver high impact color in one swipe.

They come in a variety of bold colors, such as black, white, and even a gorgeous sapphire blue.
I picked up two shades that are a little more wearable: Gone Greige, a midtone gray beige, and Coffee Addiction, a reddish brown.

Just like the Creamy Matte Lipsticks, these are extremely comfortable to wear -- I wouldn't necessarily all them hydrating, but they aren't drying at all and they feel creamy and smooth on the lips.

As Maybelline promises, the lipsticks are also intensely pigmented. One swipe really is enough to give you opaque color -- and the staying power is pretty great too. I can get five or six hours of wear out of them if I'm not eating or drinking.

If you like greige lipsticks, Gone Greige is a lovely option. With my fair skin, some greige lipsticks can wash me out. This one is dark enough to be flattering on a variety of skin tones.

I don't usually go for brown lipsticks, but I really like Coffee Addiction, which has enough red to work with my skin tone. I think it's a perfect shade for fall, and would look especially nice on darker skin tones.

If you're not a fan of matte lipsticks. Maybelline's also come out with the Color Jolt Intense Lip Paints, which the brand describes as a really pigmented gloss.

They come in squeeze tubes that are colored to match the shade of the product. There is a slant tip applicator, too, though I feel like it's slightly difficult to squeeze the right amount of product out on it so I sometimes just apply it with my finger.

I purchased the Color Jolt in Stripped Down, a rosy nude, which is a lovely everyday shade. It's definitely very pigmented, and it has a nice glossy finish without being over the top. It feels comfortable on the lips, with a nice creamy texture.

The staying power is pretty good too. I can get a few hours of wear out of it if I'm not eating or drinking.

I think both of these products are worth checking out if you're interested in any of the shades.

The Loaded Bolds retail for $7.49, while the Color Jolts go for about $9.99 each. Maybelline's often BOGO-1/2 off at drugstores too, so you can get an even better deal.

Have you tried the Maybelline Loaded Bolds Lipsticks or Color Jolt Intense Lip Paints? Which shades are your favorites?
