Product Review -- ColourPop Creme Gel Colours

As much as I love ColourPop -- and I am seriously head over heels for the brand, for sure -- I'm a little bit behind on their new products and reviewing the ones that I have managed to pick up.

The Creme Gel Colours have been out for a while now, and I've actually had them for quite some time, but so much new makeup stuff seems to come out everyday that I just haven't gotten around to reviewing them.

Please don't take that as any kind of commentary on the products themselves because I've got to say, they're pretty great gel liners (and very affordable too!).

The Creme Gel Colours come in come in small glass pots with white plastic lids that feature the ColourPop logo in cool silver print. Each pot contains 3 grams of product, which is a good amount.

I've purchased five of the shades (though one no longer appears to be available on their website): Get Paid, a metallic rose gold; Sweet Tooth, a metallic bronze with glitter (no longer available); Overboard, a warm metallic bronze, Call Me, a deep plummy brown, and Stomper, a cool toned brown.

The formula for these liners is just about perfect -- they're creamy enough that they apply very easily, but they also dry very quickly so they'll stay in place all day. They're super opaque too, and I haven't had any issue with the glitter in the glittery shades from falling into my eyes (though I haven't tried those on my waterline because I'm concerned about irritation).

While I use them primarily for lining my upper lashline, I have used them on the waterline and they show up really well and last pretty much all day without transferring or smudging.

I also really like using these liners as colored bases -- not only do they help to make the eye shadows that I put on top really pop, they lock them in place all day. Get Paid is probably my favorite shade to use this way, but Overboard works well as a base too.

In general, Get Paid and Overboard are my two favorites, though I also really enjoy Call Me because of its purple undertones, and Stomper, because it's a really nice, soft alternative to black.

That's one of the great things about these liners, though -- while I chose more neutral or natural shades, they come in a wide variety of colors, including really bold options such as hot pink and grass green.

And because they only cost $6, you won't feel bad about buying a couple of bright shades that you might not wear as often as a black or navy.

Best of all, ColourPop is now shipping internationally, so if you live outside the U.S. and have been wanting to try the Creme Gel Colours -- or any of the brand's other fabulous products -- now you can.

Have you tried the ColourPop Creme Gel Colours? Which shades are your favorites?
