The Balm is back on HauteLook

I know I just posted yesterday about Tarte's F&F Event, but there's another great sale that I just had to share.

The Balm is back on HauteLook starting today.

If you've been reading the blog for a while, you know that I'm absolutely crazy about this brand -- I would pretty much recommend every product that I've tried from the line -- and there are some especially good items available right now. The Nude'Tude, Meet Matt(e) Nude, and Balm Jovi Palettes are all available at about half off, which are amazing values, and my very favorite Shady Lady Palette -- Vol. 2 -- is also up for grabs.  You can also score the Mary-Lou Manizer Highlighter, Betty-Lou Manizer Bronzer, and several of their classic blushes, including Frat Boy, Down Boy, and Cabana Boy.

You seriously can't go wrong with any of those products.

Sales, Sales, Sales -- Le Metier de Beaute Cosmetics on HauteLook & Beauty.com F&F Sale

So the Islanders were eliminated from the NHL playoffs on Saturday night and since I'm still in deep mourning, I could definitely use a little retail therapy to cheer me up.

Fortunately, the shopping gods are on my side because there are a couple of pretty interesting/good sales coming up in the next couple of days.

If you read this blog regularly, you know I'm totally willing to spend money on high end products.

But there are some brands that way too rich even for my blood.

Le Metier de Beaute Cosmetics is definitely one of those brands.

In case you're not familiar with the pricing, a single eyeshadow from the brand goes for $30.

Pretty steep, right?

Still, I'm beside myself with curiousity about the line. The crazy, little voice in my head says, this stuff must be seriously good if they can get away with charging that much! -- and I'm dying to know whether that's true or not.

Now, I may get my chance.

For the first time tomorrow, May 14th at 11 a.m. EST, Le Metier de Beaute Cosmetics will be available on HauteLook.

I have no idea what products will be available or what the pricing will be like, but you'll likely get a pretty good deal on whatever is available so if you've been curious like me, now may be the time to check out the brand.

On the other hand, if you want to stock up on some staples or try out products from brands that are a little more mid-range in terms of pricing, Beauty.com is having a 20 percent off F&F sale starting Tuesday, May 14th at midnight PST and ending Friday, May 17th at 11:59 pm PST.

(If you're not familiar with Beauty.com, they carry a lot of the same lines as Sephora, like NARS, Urban Decay, bareMinerals, and Korres, as well as some brands that Sephora doesn't, like It Cosmetics, Kevyn Aucoin, and CARGO.)

The email that I received about the sale doesn't mention a specific code, so I'm not sure if the savings will be automatic or not.  If I receive additional information, I'll update this post.

I don't think that you can go wrong with any of the Balm's products, but if you want specific recommendations, I'd grab the Nude'Tude Palette, any of the Shady Lady Palettes, the Balm Jovi Palette, Meet Matt(e) or Meet Matt(e) Nude, and any of the blushes, especially Frat Boy, in a heartbeat if they're available. Mary Lou Manizer is a gorgeous highlighter too.

I think that I have pretty much all of their makeup products at this point, but somehow I always find something new to buy when they're on HauteLook.

(Which reminds me - I still have a couple of items from the last HauteLook sale that I have to review.  I've got to get to those one of these days.)

Starting today at 11 EST, Urban Decay is back on HauteLook.

It looks like there are a few palettes available, some individual shadows, glosses and other goodies, so it's worth checking out for sure.

Update - I just wanted to add that the brand new Meet Matt(e) Nude Shadow Palette  is available in the sale at just $21 - that's half price. I may have vowed to cut back my shadow purchases this year, but I don't think I'm strong enough to resist. If you've been eyeing the palette like I have, you may want to take advantage of a pretty fabulous deal.

By now, I have to think the world has a pretty good idea about how I feel about The Balm.

At the risk of repeating myself, though, I absolutely love virtually every product that I've tried from the brand and some, like their eye shadow palettes and blushes, are among my all-time favorites.

The Balm Is Back on HauteLook Tomorrow!

Starting tomorrow, Thursday November 22nd at 11 am EST, the Balm will be back on HauteLook.

As you can tell from the preview photo above, it looks like not only the totally amazing Nude'Tude Palette will be available but the fabulous Balm Jovi Palette too.  I adore both palettes and would pay full price for either in a heartbeat so when you can get a good deal on them like at HauteLook, it's a no brainer to pick them up.  I'll probably do a little holiday shopping myself.

I know that it's Thanksgiving here in the States tomorrow, but between basting the turkey and chowing down on pumpkin pie, you can find a few free minutes to pick up some goodies from the Balm.

And they have so many goodies - the Nude'Tude Palette, all of the Shady Lady Palettes, the Meet Matte Palette (which I really haven't raved about enough), all the blushes and lots of other gems.

Urban Decay on Haute Look Tomorrow

Starting Friday, August 10th at 11 a.m. EST, Urban Decay will be back on Haute Look.

Now, I don't know what items will be available tomorrow but in the past, I've seen UD's tinted moisturizer (which I scored for $3!), the Book of Shadow IV (which is actually my favorite of all the Books), a set of 24/7 Glide-On Shadow Pencils and other goodies.

I shouldn't be buying anything else this month (I kind of went crazy when e.l.f. had its 50% off sale so my beauty budget is already blown for August... sorry I didn't get a post up about that; I totally found out last minute) but I'm definitely going to check out the event to see if there are any deals that I just can't pass up.

The Balm on Haute Look Tomorrow!

Good news!

The Balm, quite possibly my very favorite makeup brand, is going to be back on sale at Haute Look tomorrow.

I'm not sure what products will be available, but they'll all be available at a discount and since I think the Balm's products are totally worth paying full price for, that's a serious steal. 

Personally, I am determined to score Down Boy blush if it's available this go-around.

If you're looking for other recs, I cannot stress enough how fabulous and life-changing the Nude'tude Palette is.  If you don't have it yet, grab it when you can. You'll thank me later, trust me.

I also adore the Shady Lady Palettes, Mary Lou Manizer, Betty Lou Manizer, Frat Boy Blush, Cabana Boy Blush, and Mai Billsbepaid lipstick.

If that seems like the Balm's entire line, it pretty much is.  I really don't think you can go wrong with any of their stuff.

I am a huge fan of the Balm as you can read here and here. I have loved every single item that I've tried from the line.  I don't know what HauteLook is going to have available this time, but if you can get your hands on the amazing Nude'Tude or any of the Shady Lady Palettes, grab 'em!  The Balm's shadows are amazing - some of my favorites actually. I'm thinking of buying a couple of Nude'Tude Palettes to have on hand as gifts for friends when I need them.  Everyone should have one in their life.

The Balm's blushes, especially Frat Boy, are lovely too.

Stila Backstage Palette is on sale for $12 (originally $28) - I have this one and it's gorgeous!

I've written about Haute Look several times before, but if you're unfamiliar with the site, it sells high end and designer items at discounted prices.  For example, the last time that Urban Decay was on Haute Look, I got their tinted moisturizer for $3 and a set of their mini shadow pencils for $12.

I definitely recommend the Book of Shadows IV palette for $24 (I think it was originally $64, if you can believe that) - it's my favorite of the ones I have because it's got a great combination of bold colors and gorgeous neutrals. The Primer Potion's also available for $9, which is a pretty good deal if you need to stock up.

Starting today, NYX is on sale at HauteLook.

There are quite a few good deals to be had - I'm thinking about getting the set of 3 cream blush sticks.  I've wanted to try them for a while, but every time I check Ulta, the shade I really want, Orchid, is out of stock.  This set includes Orchid, Pink Poppy, and Tea Rose for $11, which seems like a pretty good price.

By now, I'm sure you realize that I'm a huge fan of the Balm and their products.

For those not familiar with HauteLook, it's a website that offers amazing savings on high end fashion, jewelry, makeup, home goods, and even travel deals. Each sales events lasts for several days, though there are only limited quanities of the items available so if there's something you're interested in, it's best to purchase early (I've learned that the hard way).
