Product Review -- Too Faced Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blush Wardrobe

I've been kind of obsessed with blush palettes lately.

It all started a few months back when I depotted all of my Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes and put them in a couple of a Z Palettes -- because it was just so convenient to have a variety of shades in one place. I'd leave the palettes out on my vanity and whenever I was in a rush, it was super easy to just grab one and find the perfect shade.

Since then, I've been seeking out pre-made blush palettes so when I saw that Too Faced was releasing a one, it immediately went on my holiday wish list.

The Love Flush Long-Lasting 16-Hour Blush Wardrobe contains all six shades of the Love Flush Blushes. I've been interested in these blushes since they came out, but I was having a hard time justifying purchasing any more full size blushes when I already have so many.

The Blush Wardrobe offers .07 oz of each blush shade, as opposed to .21 oz in each full size shade, but honestly, I haven't hit pan on a blush in years so these are kind of the perfect size for me.

The palette is long and rectangular and made of sturdy cardboard and is decorated with colorful hearts. Inside is a long, narrow mirror that would probably work all right for touch ups.

The shades include Love Hangover, a warm pink with subtle gold shimmer; Baby Love, a soft rosy nude with subtle gold shimmer; I Will Always Love You, a peachy coral with subtle gold shimmer; How Deep Is Your Love, a matte watermelon pink; Justify My Love, a bright bubblegum pink with subtle gold shimmer; and Your Love Is King, a matte rose plum.

The formula of these blushes actually reminds me the Tarte Amazonian Clay Blushes -- they're nicely pigmented and blend easily. I would say that they're a little sheerer than the Tarte blushes, which gives them a very natural look on the skin.

They also wear very well -- I don't get the 16 hours that Too Faced promises, but I'd say I usually get at least 8, which is a lot for me when it comes to blush.

I've gotten plenty of use out of all the shades, but my personal favorites are Your Love Is King, which is an unique shade in my collection, and Baby Love, which works well everyday with virtually any eye or lip makeup.

I would definitely recommend this palette to anyone who's wanted to try these blushes -- you get every shade! -- or anyone who's in the market for a convenient palette with virtually every blush shade you might need to travel with.

It retails $36 on the Too Faced website. (It's out of stock at the moment. I originally assumed it was limited edition, but I don't see any indication of that on the site so I assume it will be available again soon.)

Have you tried the Too Faced Love Flush Long Lasting 16-Hour Blush Wardrobe? Which shade is your favorite?

  1. I really want to buy this palette but I don't need anymore blush. I already own and love the love hangover shade! It's so pretty! Great swatches x

  2. How nice would it be to receive that instead of flowers for valentines day? I can see a lot of guys getting this for their girlfriends. Love the design and the colour are actually really nice and diverse which rarely happens.

    1. You're so right -- this would be a great alternative to flowers or even chocolates. ;)

And I agree about the range of colors -- it makes it much more versatile. I also appreciate that they're all colors from the permanent line so if I fall in love with one, I can go buy a single if need be. :D

    2. Agreed! I feel like a lot more companies should do that! It´s usually through palettes like that that you see which colours you gravitate towards and of course you´ll use up those a lot faster than others.
