Wet n Wild Limited Edition Spring Forward Palettes -- Nude Awakening & Going in the Wild

I never have any luck finding Wet n Wild limited edition products.

Whenever I see blog posts or videos about some interesting looking palette that they have out, I immediately hit all the local drugstores that carry WnW to hunt for them but they are never anywhere to be found.

And it's not like with other drugstore limited edition products when I just get there too late and find an empty display.

I can never find any evidence that they were ever there in the first place.

It's not like I live in the middle of nowhere, either.

I'm on Long Island, just barely 20 minutes outside of NYC.

I should be able to find WnW limited edition products, damn it.

When I saw the Spring Forward palettes, though, I was even more determined to track them down.

I'm a big fan of WnW's shadows and the shades in these palettes were just too pretty to miss. (Even if I am trying to curtail my shadow purchases.  I'm only so strong.)

The collection features two palettes, Nude Awakening, a collection of natural shades, and Going in the Wild, which features some pretty purple shades, a nice minty green, and some natural shades.

So once again, I hit my local drugstores, repeatedly, searching for these palettes.

And once again, no luck.

I'd given up finding them, and actually had to stop reading any blog post or watching any YT video that features the palettes because they left me totally envious.

So imagine my very happy surprise when I read on Nouveau Cheap (if you're not familiar with the site, it has all the information you could ever want about drugstore products, limited edition collections and all.) that Nonpareil Boutique had the palettes available online.

Now, you have to buy both and they cost $15 plus shipping (I think I paid about $20 in total), which is more than you'd pay at Walgreen's or wherever you find WnW in your neighborhood, but if you're dying for these palettes like I was and can't find them anywhere, it may be worth the extra money.

I'd never ordered from Nonpareil Boutique before, but I have no complaints.  It took about a week for me to get the palettes, but I think that's mainly because they're located in CA and I'm all the way on the other side of the country.  Oh, and international readers, they do ship to lots of countries so you may be in luck too. You can read where they ship here.)

I'm not going to do a full review on the palettes simply because I haven't used them enough to make any definitive judgements -- though I will say that my first impressions are all positive -- but I wanted to shared some photos while they're still in stock in case anyone is interested.

I've used this palette a couple of times so far and really like -- yesterday I did a soft, smoky daytime look that I really loved.

I've only played with this palette a little, but I absolutely love the mint and purple shades.  So pretty and absolutely perfect for spring and summer.

Have you found the Wet n Wild Spring Forward Palettes near you?  Which one is your favorite?

  1. It's funny that you mention that, because I also live in a big city (Chicago) and I can NEVER find any limited edition WnW products! And it's the same thing, it's not like I miss them, it's that they were never there in the first place! I never see displays or anything. It's super weird. I also got frustrated that I couldn't find these, so I'm glad you were able to find them! They look lovely!

    1. It must be a conspiracy against big cities. LOL So strange. I'm definitely glad I got these palettes, though. They really are lovely.
