Shopping Bag -- All Maybelline

(Note: As I sat down to write this post, I realized that there is third Maybelline-related post I've done in a row.  It hasn't been intentional -- I promise to mix things up a little better this week!)

A few months back, I did what I called a "Shopping Bag" post to share photos and swatches of products that I didn't plan to do a full review of for whatever reason (it's limited edition and hard to get, I've already reviewed the product in another shade, etc).

I haven't done one since but I finally have some products that fit the bill -- all of which are made by Maybelline interestingly enough.

Maybelline Color Whisper Lipsticks in Pin Up Peach, Berry Ready, & Go Nude ($7.49)

I've mentioned how much I love these lipsticks before, so I had to go out and pick up a few more shades.

Pin Up Peach may be my favorite of all the shades I have (tied with Coral Ambition, honestly), but Berry Ready is a lovely bright berry shade and Go Nude is a nice shiny nude shade for days when you want a super low key lip.

Maybelline Limited Edition Blush in Wild Blossom ($8)

I'd read a while back that Maybelline had limited edition blushes out for the spring, but I never came across them ... until the other day when I found a nearly empty display at Walgreen's.  There was only one Wild Blossom left and one Coral Burst left.  While Coral Burst looked beautifully bright, I was too intimidated to give it a go on my pale skin.

Wild Blossom is a lovely rosy shade with slight purple undertones.  It's super shimmery, but not in a chunky glitter way -- it goes on very smoothly.  I've been absolutely obsessed with this blush ever since I got it.

Maybelline Color Tattoo Metals in Electric Blue & Inked in Pink

I resisted buying any of the Maybeline Color Tattoo Metals for a while because they're part of the permanent line and I didn't think I needed any more cream shadows.

When I actually saw Electric Blue in person, though, I caved -- I'm a sucker for bright blue anything.  I've used this exclusively as a liner -- it works well that way -- but someday I'll get brave enough to try a look with it on my lid.

Inked in Pink caught my eye when I was picking up Electric Blue.  I have the M.A.C. Paint Pot in Let's Skate!, but that's a light shimmery pink while this is more of a medium shimmery pink. The two actually pair well together when you want to go a soft, feminine eye look.

Have you picked up any goodies recently?  What's on your wish list?
